“Stocking and pantyhose suppliers in China are upgrading their R&D capability toward releasing more value-added models, even in the low end and midrange. Makers are taking this step under efforts to gain an edge amid intensifying competition and escalating material costs.
The latest releases feature anti-bacterial, deodorizing and anti-perspirant properties. For some designs, suppliers are adopting Coolmax and modal for better breathability and comfort.”

“With the increasing cost of materials, labor, power and transportation, most China suppliers of stockings and pantyhose intend to push up product prices by 5 to 10 percent in coming months.”
